Safety Town

2024 Safety Town

Safety Town is an educational program that introduces safety awareness and emergency prevention procedures to children ages 4 (by June 10th) to 7.

A miniature layout of a community is built to the scale of a young child.

Safety lessons are taught through actual demonstrations and participation.

Days: Monday thru Friday

Dates: June 10 thru June 24

Location: Dyer Intermediate School

Session Fee is $45.00

Volunteer Instructor - Session One Volunteer instructors are under the supervision / instruction of a licensed teacher and police officer, and are responsible for helping to teach the children about safety.
